hurrrraaaa! i’ve finished the seventh doll in my doll making project. This time it’s a kangaroo called KIRA - the pattern is written and for sale on my  Etsy, DaWanda, Ravelry - check out and …

Say hello to KIRA!

Kira can be seen from afar by her long scarlet colored scarf - so the koalas sometimes call her the “Red Kira”. In her spacious pouch she keeps everyday things and her impressive collection of antique cushion springs - and of course her baby kangaroo feels most at home here. After a furious victory in the shadow boxing championship, the two prepare themselves for the world championship in long-jump.

Kira is approximately 10,5 inches tall. She is made out of cosy 4 ply tweed, cotton wool and love. For your little kangaroo you can use every yarn you prefer - she’s getting taller or smaller but she’s always really cute!

I wrote this crochet pattern for beginners too and I tried to be very detailed in my descriptions. I also included some charts to explain what to do.

NOTICE: The pattern is available in ENGLISH and GERMAN.

now the sixth doll in my doll making project is finished, the pattern is written and tested - and for sale on my  Etsy, DaWanda, Ravelry - check out and …

… say hello to Dirk the dragon / dinosaur!

DIRK’s favorite outfit is his green dragon costume with that tiny wings and dragon spikes. His mother was a Japanese water dragon, his father was a brave dinosaur - a Tyrannosaurus Rex! One hour a day he practices fire-breathing in his cave - small fireballs work out very well. If he sneezes, he accidentally sprayed some sparks. Dirk collects matches and is going to be a firefighter when he grows up.

this animated film will stay one of my alltime favorites: “hedgehog in the fog - by Yuriy Norshteyn (Юрий Норштейн)” 1975

second granny square - upgrade 2.0

Finally all 255 circles are surrounded with dark gray. The next step is joining the hexagons while finishing the bright gray rounds - so i’m pretty excited to see how much time it takes to finish the entire blanket!

finally the BINA-pattern and others are available at: Etsy, DaWanda, Ravelry
